Client Service & Business StructureOur business structure is built on client service teams each having responsibility for all aspects of client service delivery. Each client group leader oversees the business for a particular client group, working closely with their team of directors and property managers. Our human resources, IT and accounting departments support each group offering a full service solution to third party real estate management. Whether it's operations, leasing, financial reporting or accounting, this comprehensive approach ensures efficiency, accountability, and attention to detail. 
Geoffrey J. Harrison As President and CEO, Geoff is responsible for the overall vision, leadership and growth of Arcturus Realty Corporation, Canada's leading independent provider of essential real estate services. He has held senior management positions with a number of Canada's top development and management companies. In 2006, he led a management buy-out of the former O&Y Enterprise and rebranded it to Arcturus Realty Corporation. With 30 years of experience in all aspects of the real estate sector, Geoff's counsel is a desired commodity for those seeking advice on management of their real estate assets. Geoff is an active member in a number of real estate industry organizations and is currently a board member of BOMA Toronto. 
Barbara Rodgers Barbara leads service delivery for Arcturus' portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties across Canada. She is focused on achieving success in service excellence for our clients. Through her 20 years in the Canadian real estate industry, Barbara has managed national portfolios, including senior positions with high profile investment organizations, developers and owners. An active member of ICSC, NAIOP, BOMA and TCREW, Barbara holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. Barbara is a hands-on leader who believes that success lies in having the right people in the right place supported by industry-leading technology and knowledge systems, ensuring those resources are maximized to our clients' benefit.  
Bill Black Bill is responsible for corporate and operations accounting and information technology. He delivers timely customized, state-of-the-art reporting while ensuring the financial rigor and integrity of the system. Bill holds a CMA and has 25 years' experience in real estate accounting, finance and I.T. He is responsible for the continual development of technology platforms to maximize the efficient operation of our managed properties. A strong advocate of fiduciary responsibility and corporate governance, Bill brings disciplined leadership to our accounting and I.T. functions. 
Ronald Taylor Ron is responsible for delivering a wide range of development advisory services to clients across Canada. His priorities are to provide clients with dynamic development concepts and deliver the plan on time and on budget. Over the past 25 years, Ron's experience covers some of the most exciting developments of our time. Ron's expertise in leading downtown and waterfront revitalization projects is far reaching. Projects include The City of Burlington's Downtown/Waterfront, Victoria's Colwood City Centre and the Halifax Seaport redevelopment. Ron is on several industry boards and is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences. A high energy visionary, Ron applies 360° thinking to each project and constantly strives to keep Arcturus at the forefront of the industry. 
Laurel Arnott Laurel is responsible for effectively overseeing the management of our largest retail client's portfolio, exceeding 13.8 million square feet on a national basis. Her focus is to provide strategic council, maintain effective relations and ensure overall service excellence. Laurel's 25 years in the real estate industry include management responsibilities with several high profile national real estate owners and development companies. She is a member of many industry associations, including ICSC and she holds an RPA designation. Laurel's extensive experience in property administration, management and marketing serves her well in leading the team of professionals responsible for the day to day operations of this portfolio. 
Robert P. Duteau Rob is responsible for operations and client services for Arcturus' western Canadian portfolio. He has a proven track record in leasing and managing office, industrial and retail properties while ensuring operational efficiency on a daily basis. Well known and respected throughout the west, Rob brings over 15 years of leasing and real estate management expertise, including the introduction of several innovative leasing and management tools. Rob is a creative thinker who is constantly seeking new opportunities to raise the bar within the company and exceed client expectations. 
Danielle Lavoie Danielle is responsible for the service delivery of Arcturus' management portfolio throughout Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Her commitment to ensuring operational efficiencies and best practices results in achieving strong financial performance and maximizing value for our clients' assets. Danielle is a member of the Quebec Bar and holds a CMA designation. She brings over 15 years of industry experience in all aspects of property management with major real estate owners. An active member of BOMA and ICSC, she is also President of CREW Montréal. 
Robert Last Robert is responsible for overseeing the management of our Ontario clients' portfolios. He has extensive expertise in operations, construction, project management and mixed-use portfolio management. With over 20 years of progressive property management experience, Robert has achieved accreditation of multiple designations within the industry including the RPA, SMA, Advanced Project Management and credited courses at the University of Toronto in Financial Analysis and Investment. A committee member of many industry associations, Robert is a forward thinking professional who sees the 'big picture' and is involved in the issues facing our industry today. 
Catherine McKenna Catherine is responsible for overseeing the company's leasing across Canada. Her focus is on providing strategic direction for the leasing group, ensuring consistently high occupancy levels are achieved, attracting the right tenants to meet the market's needs while maximizing the value of our clients' properties. Her 25 years of experience in real estate leasing has included enclosed and strip shopping centres, high-end specialty and street front retail, and office premises. Catherine is licensed under RECO and holds the position of Broker of Record for Ontario for Arcturus Realty. Her diverse background in leasing gives her a wide perspective of industry knowledge and a deep understanding of tenants' and landlords' business needs. 
John Chung John is responsible for all aspects of Arcturus' I.T. department. John has over 10 years' experience in the real estate industry with diversified knowledge in technology and programming covering a broad range of languages and environments. John is a results-focused leader with vision. He has overseen the roll out of technology platforms that ensure our clients and colleagues have leading edge, reliable systems with the ability for customized reporting. His established history of execution is evidenced by a reduction in annual I.T. operating costs through system consolidation, architecture improvement, vendor cost reduction and process improvement. 
Maureen MacMillan Maureen is responsible for all client financial reporting across Canada. Her focus is to provide clients and property management teams with accurate reporting. She possesses a strong financial acumen which has been demonstrated throughout her 20 year career in property accounting. In her past roles, she has performed financial due diligence, transitioned national portfolios and set processes. Maureen's commitment to excellence with innovative strategies and tactical solutions allow her to capture cost reductions and deliver operational efficiencies. 
Christine Cowan Christine is responsible for leading the human resources function for the company. Her focus is to ensure that Arcturus recruits, develops, and retains the best and brightest in the real estate industry to serve the needs of our clients. She brings over 30 years of human resources experience in a variety of senior positions with large publicly held companies in the real estate sector. As a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Christine has a strong background in employee and labour relations, training and development, change management, benefits and compensation, retention, succession planning and corporate governance and fosters a high performance culture at Arcturus. 
Jennifer O'Neill Jennifer O'Neill is responsible for corporate marketing, employee communications and public relations. Her focus is to manage the Arcturus brand and drive its marketing initiatives. Prior to her current role, she served as the Regional Marketing Director for O&Y Enterprise's retail portfolio, as sales manager for the National Trade Centre at Exhibition Place, Marketing Manager at Queen's Quay Terminal and also held various marketing positions with a leading shopping centre developer. Throughout her 15 year career, Jennifer has been actively involved in the real estate industry. A highly skilled communicator and creative thinker, Jennifer plays a key role in developing and executing successful marketing strategies to enhance revenue growth, customer experiences and brand awareness. |
