Client Service & Business StructureOur business structure is built on client service teams each having responsibility for all aspects of client service delivery. Each client group leader oversees the business for a particular client group, working closely with their team of directors and property managers. Our human resources, IT and accounting departments support each group offering a full service solution to third party real estate management. Whether it's operations, leasing, financial reporting or accounting, this comprehensive approach ensures efficiency, accountability, and attention to detail. 
Geoffrey J . Harrison Geoff is responsible for the overall vision, leadership and management of Arcturus. His number one priority is business development and enhancing relationships with our clients. His 30 years' experience in the real estate sector includes involvement in all aspects of the business. He has worked as a senior executive with several of Canada's most prominent property investment and management organizations, culminating with his appointment to President of O&Y Enterprise in 2002. The subsequent 100 percent management buy-out of the company, and its renaming to Arcturus Realty Corporation, took place in 2006. Geoff's counsel is a desired commodity for those seeking advice on management of their real estate assets. 
Barbara Rodgers Barbara is responsible for Arcturus' real estate management activities across Canada for all asset classes. Her focus is to achieve operational excellence for our clients and to ensure a high level of satisfaction with the services and results that we deliver. She brings 20 years experience to the management of national real estate portfolios and has held senior management positions with several high profile property investment organizations, developers and owners. Barbara is a hands-on leader who believes that success lies in having the right people in place with the best support systems and making sure those resources are maximized to our clients' benefit every single day.  
Ronald Taylor Ron is responsible for delivering a wide range of development and advisory services to clients across Canada. His priorities are to provide clients with dynamic development concepts and delivering the plan on time and on budget. Over the past 20 years, Ron's experience covers some of the most exciting developments of our time including: Canary Wharf, London, England; Queen's Quay Terminal, Toronto; Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco; and Centro Santa Fe, Mexico City. Ron's expertise in leading downtown and waterfront revitalization projects is far reaching. Current projects include The City of Burlington's Downtown/Waterfront, Toronto's John Street Roundhouse and the the Halifax Seaport redevelopment for the Halifax Port Authority. Ron is also Managing Director of Arcturus SMG Canada, which delivers facility management services to convention and trade centres, arenas, stadiums and theatres. Ron is on several industry boards and is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences. A high energy visionary, Ron applies 360° thinking to each project and constantly strives to keep Arcturus at the forefront of the industry. 
Robert P. Duteau Rob is responsible for operations and client services for Arcturus' western Canadian portfolio. He has a proven track record in leasing and managing office, industrial and retail properties while ensuring operational efficiency on a daily basis. Well known and respected throughout the west, Rob brings over 13 years of leasing and real estate management expertise, including the introduction of several innovative leasing and management tools. Rob is a creative thinker who is constantly seeking new opportunities to raise the bar within the company and exceed client expectations. 
Laurel Arnott Laurel is responsible for effectively overseeing the management of our largest retail clients' portfolio, exceeding 13.8 million square feet and 400 properties, on a national basis. Her focus is to provide strategic council, maintain effective relations and ensure overall service excellence. Laurel's 25 years in the real estate industry include management responsibilities with several high profile national real estate owners and development companies. She is a member of many industry associations, including ICSC and she holds an RPA designation. Laurel's extensive experience in property administration, management and marketing serves her well in leading the team of professionals responsible for the day to day operations of this portfolio. 
Robert Last Robert is responsible for overseeing the management of our Ontario clients' portfolios. He has a proven track record and extensive expertise in operations, construction, project management and mixed-use portfolio management. With over 20 years of progressive property management experience, Robert has achieved accreditation of multiple designations within the industry including the RPA, SMA, Advanced Project Management and credited courses at the University of Toronto in Financial Analysis and Investment. A forward thinking professional, Robert sees the 'big picture' and is actively involved in the issues facing our industry today. He participates on such committees as the Toronto Office Coalition involved in property tax review and advocacy, BOMA committee for emergency preparedness and the BOMA sub-committee for Codes and Regulations maintaining a role on the TSSA Elevating Device Advocacy Committee (EDAC) and membership in the CSA (Canadian Standards Association). 
Danielle Lavoie Danielle is responsible for the service delivery of Arcturus' management portfolio in Quebec, the Ottawa region and Atlantic Canada. Her commitment to ensuring operational efficiencies and best practices results in achieving strong financial performance in maximizing value for our clients' assets. Danielle is a member of the Quebec Bar and holds a CMA designation. She brings over 15 years of industry experience in all aspects of property management with major real estate owners. An active member of BOMA and ICSC, she is also treasurer of CREW Montréal. 
Bill Black Bill is responsible for corporate and operations accounting and information technology. He delivers the customized, state-of-the-art reporting that our clients need while ensuring the financial rigor and integrity of the system. Bill holds a CMA and has 25 years experience in real estate accounting, finance and I.T. He is responsible for the continual development of technology platforms to maximize the efficient operation of our managed properties and ensuring timely reporting. A strong advocate of fiduciary responsibility and corporate governance, Bill brings disciplined leadership to our accounting and I.T. functions. 
Christine Cowan Christine Cowan is responsible for leading the human resources function for the company. Her focus is to ensure that Arcturus recruits, develops, and retains the best and brightest in the real estate industry to serve the needs of our clients. She brings over 30 years of human resources experience in the real estate sector with a strong background in benefits and compensation, retention, succession planning and corporate governance. Christine received her Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation in 1990. A well respected leader, Christine fosters a high performance culture at Arcturus. 
Maureen MacMillan Maureen is responsible for all client financial reporting across Canada. Her focus is to provide clients and property management teams with accurate reporting. She possesses a strong financial acumen which has been demonstrated throughout her 20 year career in property accounting. In her past roles, she has performed financial due diligence, transitioned national portfolios and set processes. Maureen's commitment to excellence with innovative strategies and tactical solutions allow her to capture cost reductions and deliver operational efficiencies. 
John Chung John Chung is responsible for all aspects of Arcturus' I.T. department. He has overseen the roll out of technology platforms that ensure that our clients and colleagues have leading edge, reliable systems with the ability for customized reporting. John has over 10 years' experience in the real estate industry with diversified knowledge in technology and programming covering a broad range of languages and environments. John is a results-focused leader with vision. His established history of execution is evidenced by a reduction in annual I.T. operating costs through system consolidation, architecture improvement, vendor cost reduction and process improvement. 
Catherine McKenna Catherine McKenna is responsible for overseeing the company's retail leasing across Canada. Her number one priority is to ensure consistently high occupancy levels are achieved throughout the national portfolio, attracting the right tenants to meet the market's needs while maximizing the value of our clients' properties. Her 24 years of experience in real estate leasing has included: enclosed and strip shopping centres, high-end specialty and street front retail, and office premises. Catherine is licensed under RECO and holds the position of Broker of Record for Ontario for Arcturus Realty. Her diverse background in leasing with a retailer, brokerage company, developer and in third party management has given her a wide perspective of industry knowledge and a deep understanding of tenants' and landlords' business needs. 
Jennifer O'Neill Jennifer O'Neill is responsible for corporate marketing, employee communications and public relations. Her focus is to manage the Arcturus brand and drive its marketing initiatives. Prior to her current role, she served as the Regional Marketing Director for O&Y Enterprise's retail portfolio, as sales manager for the National Trade Centre at Exhibition Place, Marketing Manager at Queen's Quay Terminal and also held various marketing positions with a leading shopping centre developer. Throughout her 15 year career, Jennifer has been actively involved in the real estate industry. A highly skilled communicator and creative thinker, Jennifer plays a key role in developing and executing successful marketing strategies to enhance revenue growth, customer experiences and brand awareness. |
